MOSS-apalooza -- The Grand Opening of Mossin’ Annie’s new Mossery and Book Release Party will be held on Saturday, September 5th from 2-5 pm! We're gonna have a fun time! The Moon Shine Babies will be playing and you can stroll through the Mossery to shop for specialty mosses for your own DIY moss projects. Mountain Moss has over 5000 sq ft of shade and sun species in cultivation -- container trays for DIY projects, moss mats that roll out like green carpets and moss panels for living walls and green roof applications. Door prizes will be given away throughout the afternoon including a free site consultation, 20% discount ticket, moss dish gardens and more! Kids will enjoy the face painting booth and getting to make their own moss dish gardens. And, there will be a March of the Moss Fairies! If you haven't gotten your copy of Annie Martin’s book yet, The Magical World of Moss Gardening (Timber Press, August 2015), soft and hard cover versions will be available to buy and have personally autographed by the author. Take I-26E riding south toward Brevard. Take Exit 40 (Airport Road) and turn RIGHT on NC 280. Travel straight on NC 280 into Brevard (about 20 miles). Note: From the traffic light at the intersection of Hwy #280, #64, #276 (also the entrance to Pisgah National Forest), it is 2 miles until you turn on E. French Broad St. After you pass Brevard College on your left, take a LEFT on E. French Broad St. When it dead-ends, take a LEFT on Park Avenue and immediate RIGHT on Elks Club Road (big rock house on corner). You’ll go past a couple of houses and see a building ahead with a big parking lot. Mossery is located straight past building (still under renovation) in the pine grove at the far end.

From SC:
